Host Biographies

Ricardo Forbes "#1 Host" has been around for quite sometime, and has always been a lover of photography, and all genres of music, with a heavy leaning towards Southern Christian Music, which he heard his mom playing and signing, and Country, which he heard his dad playing back in the day, when LP's were the records played, when listening to music, then 8 tracks were ushered in. Mom's favorites were Gaither's, & Old Spirituals, and Dad's favorite artists were, Marty Robins, Charley Pride, Loretta Lynn, and Buck Owens.

As mentioned earlier, I am a big fan and lover of Gospel music, because of the messages in the songs. From a child growing up in the home, my Mom played Christian music, until this day, and she was until recently, the music director and one of the pianist at our Church. So, its in my blood, and I love the messages that are conveyed in the songs. The Gaither Homecoming music group and various solo artists, especially Guy Penrod, and Cece Winans. Even though country and R & B were my roots, I have decided that this station will play Christian, Contemporary, Instrumental and Classical music.

My goal will be to provide our audience with a mixture of wholesome music, that the family can sit and listen to, which will soothe the mind, enlighten the heart, calm the soul, and lift your thoughts heavenward, while shining God's light in a world surrounded by darkness.
I want kids to be able to enjoy, while signing along, and not be led down a wrong path with lyrics that are not wholesome, or suggesting behavior that is unbecoming, and dis-respectful.

Finance, Insurance, and Risk management was my career path, but I always had a love for Photography and Music. After 30 years in the Finance and Insurance industry, I am now doing the joys of my life, sharing Christ with others through songs, podcast, conversations, and interviews, on Health and Wellness, while living a balance lifestyle. Making documentaries, that educate, inform, advocate and motivate those that need guidance, and at the end of the day, soothe someone who may be hurting, and bring joy to the lonely, those who are shut in, and a calmness to those who need direction in a troubled and disturb world.

The youth of the Cayman Islands, and the world on a whole, is where we are trying to make a difference, and have an impact, especially in education, mental illness, and giving a sense of who Christ is, and what He can do for you..
Join us as we do our part to make the world a better place and to "Keep Faith and Hope Alive." RF
