Cayman Public Radio, when abbreviated you get CPR. This is how we see our radio station. The topics being discussed on CPR will be engaging and lead to Critical (C) Public (P) Review (R). Our purpose is to therefore, inform, impart knowledge, (which will lead to a greater understanding), provide a forum for critical thinking to take place and encourage out of the box thinking to those who tune in. The Brain and Mind should be stimulated by the messages that are conveyed, whether through music, sermons, meditations or conversations, and we should be guided by our Moral, Ethical, and Spiritual compass at all times. When these needs and desires are met, then our mission would have been accomplished. CPR - breathing a breath of fresh air into a troubled world.
The founders and its contributors, will then know that we have done our part to "Keep Faith and Hope Alive." We will use our airwaves as a platform to Educate and Inspire, to Advocate Positive Change, be the Voice of Reason, Stimulate Positive and Creative thinking, but we will also debate and discuss social issues and cultural challenges- that face us as a people, the under privileged, the down trodden, and those who feel society does not care. With this in mind, we will highlight the negatives that exist in our communities, and examine new ideas that can create new possibilities for the future. CPR will focus and turn the Spotlight on the Positives and what are being achieved in our Country. People speak about change very casually, because it is the politically correct thing to say, but change is not met with great acceptance. We seldom focus on why change is needed, who needs to change, what type of change we need, and the benefits that will be derived when change occurs. Technology changes every second, and we have to be very cognizant of the fact, that whenever change occurs, it will not please everybody, and you will not have a perfect Utopia, but we must strive to bring about change that will be better for the majority, and will provide them with a more harmonious lifestyle and outlook on life. By our programs and the content shared, we hope to affect Mind, Body, and Soul in a positive way, by creating a social acceptance, positive awareness, spiritual balance, and an atmosphere of human mindfulness.
